The State Bank stated that these shortlisted designs will be sent to foreign designers for feedback. Based on their input, the final designs of the currency notes will be approved.
Foreign designers will have the freedom to create the final designs using their expertise, with the shortlisted designs serving as a reference or guide.
The shortlisted designs include one design each for the Rs 20, Rs 50, Rs 100, and Rs 1,000 notes, and two designs each for the Rs 10, Rs 500, and Rs 5,000 notes.
