National team fast bowler Shaheen Afridi recently celebrated the birth of his son, Ali Yar, with a heartfelt Instagram post.
Shaheen Shah Afridi married Shahid Afridi’s daughter, Ansha Afridi, in February last year. The couple tied the knot again in September 2023. In just 11 months of marriage, they not only brought joy to their fans with the news of their son’s birth but also made Shahid Afridi one of the youngest grandfathers in the cricket world.
Shaheen and Ansha welcomed their son, Ali Yar, on Saturday, August 24. The couple received many congratulatory messages from well-known personalities. To share his joy, Shaheen Afridi took to Instagram and posted a monochrome photo showing him and Ansha holding their newborn’s tiny hand.
In the caption, Shaheen expressed his happiness, stating that becoming a father has changed everything for him. He shared, “My heart is full, and my life has just become so much better. This date, 24/08/2024, when we welcomed Ali Yar into the world, will always be special to us.”
Shaheen also thanked his wife, Ansha, for her strength and support during this journey, saying, “I will always be grateful to my wife for enduring all the hardships. She truly is the backbone of our little family.” He concluded by asking his fans for prayers and thanked them for their kind wishes.
