Bollywood diva Malaika Arora‘s father Anil Arora committed suicide by jumping from the sixth floor of a building. Bandra Police and Crime Branch team has reached the spot. At present, the police have not received any suicide note. It was being told that Malaika’s father was ill for a long time.
Malaika arora spoke of not only her ‘wonderful’ childhood but also told in an interview during 2022 how much tough times she faced during the initial years of her life. She remembered how she was only 11 when her parents, Anil Arora and Joyce Polycarp, had a divorce.
After the divorce, Malaika arora, along with her sister Amrita, who was six years old then, shifted with her mother from Thane to Chembur and was brought up by her. Once she told Grazia India, “I had a fabulous childhood, but it wasn’t exactly easy. In fact, now that I look back, the word I’d use to describe it is turmoil. But tough times teach you important lessons too.
My parents getting separated allowed me to see my mom in a new and different light. I learned from her a rock-steady work ethic: to get up each morning and do whatever it takes to be fiercely independent. Those early lessons serve as the cornerstones in my life and professional journey. I am still fiercely independent; I value my freedom and live life on my terms,” she added.
