Actor Jayam Ravi’s estranged wife Aarti broke her silence over the dissolution of their marriage. She shared a lengthy statement regarding Ravi’s announcement over their divorce. She said that the announcement was made without her knowledge or consent. She wrote further, “I had been trying to have an open dialogue with him regarding our relationship, but unfortunately my efforts went in vain.”.
Aarti, in the meantime, said she felt compulsions to speak up because ever since Ravi spoke about their separation, there have been character attacks on her. She said her focus now remains the well-being of her two sons, Aarav and Ayaan.
