The Karachi court approved the application of divorce that Dua Bhutto had filed against her husband Haleem Adil Sheikh. Court said that the efforts of reconciliation between the parties proved to be futile. The civil judge directed Haleem Adil Shaikh to pay Rs 24,000 per month to meet the expenses of the child. Further hearing of the child expense case was adjourned till September 21.
It is to be noted that Haleem Adil Sheikh married Dua Bhutto for the second time in the year 2018, Dua Bhutto filed a petition for divorce from Haleem Adil in 2022.
It was said in the divorce suit moved by Dua Bhutto in the year 2018 when Haleem was married to Adil Sheikh, in which a dowry of five lakh rupees was fixed and that has not been paid so far.
In the divorce claim, Dua Bhutto said that on 10th September 2019 our son Kamil Haleem was born. Haleem Adil Sheikh’s first marriage came to know later; Haleem Adil Sheikh’s first wife and children interfere in my life.
The divorce claim filed against Dua Bhutto says that she was married in the year 2018, a dowry of five lakh rupees was fixed which has not yet been paid, the marriage certificate is with Haleem Adil Sheikh who is It has not been provided to me till date.
Our son Kamil Haleem was born on 10 September 2019 according to Khala’s claim. It was much later that the first marriage of Haleem Adil Sheikh came to be known. Interference of Haleem Adil Sheikh’s first wife and children in my life.
As the claim filed in court reads, “the day-to-day behaviour of Haleem Adil Sheikh is changing”, “Haleem Adil Sheikh has been ignoring me”, “Haleem Adil Sheikh has been rude and mentally disturbed and tortured me”, “Haleem Adil Sheikh has been harassing me. Life has been destroyed.”.
Dua Bhutto added in her claim that the behavior of Haleem Adil Sheikh is inappropriate, she does not want to live with him, Haleem Adil Sheikh kept his first two wives in bungalows and I have been kept in a rented flat.
In his divorce letter, he requested the court to divorce Haleem Adil and order to pay 5 lac rupees per month.
