Taapsee was a software professional and pursued a modeling career. During her modeling days, she appeared in many commercials and won titles like “Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh Face” and “Safi Femina Miss Beautiful Skin” in 2008.

Taapsee made her acting debut in the 2010 Telugu film Jhummandi Naadam, directed by Raghavendra Rao.
