Recently, Pandya Store actress Simran Budharup shared her sad experience while visiting Lalbaugcha Raja. The actress sought blessings along with her mother, but she had to experience the rudeness of the staff members. This was how an unpleasant incident happened, that too left her in shock. The actress spoke about mismanagement to spread awareness and demand responsibility for what happened. During the visit, while standing in the queue, Simran’s mother tried taking a picture.
A photo was clicked by her mother, who was standing behind her, when it was Simran Budharup‘s turn for darshan. This phone was suddenly snatched by a staff member. Her mother was pushed aside when she tried to get back the phone. Seeing this, Simran intervened and was handled roughly by the bouncers, Simran explained. She further explained that when she began recording, the staff also tried to snatch her phone.
In a video that she has shared online, one can hear her screaming “Mat Karo! Kya kar rahe ho aap? “. And it was then that the staff backed off. While sharing this video, she wrote, “Today I went to Lalbagh Cha Raja with my mother for blessings, but unfortunately, our experience was ruined due to the unacceptable behavior of their staff. A gentleman from our organization snatched the phone of my mother while she was clicking the picture and when trying to take it back, he gave a push to her.
I intervened, and the bouncers rough-handled me; when I started recording this behavior of theirs, they even tried snatching my phone.” She went on to express disappointment for the whole experience and said that such places are visited by devotees with good intentions in search of positivity and blessings, and not to get such treatment in return. She admitted that it is tough to handle huge crowds during such festivals, but that doesn’t give license for aggressive behavior with the devotees. Simran narrated the story of disrespect to her and her mother so that event organizers might take steps to ensure that staff members treat visitors with love and dignity.
She hopes that this may motivate a change in how such incidents are dealt with to make the atmosphere more positive and respectful for all devotees.
