However, at a Filmfare event, Siddharth made a surprising comment when asked about on-screen romance, which caught fans off guard. The 2012 film featured a lip-lock scene between Siddharth and Alia that created a buzz. In a 2014 interview with Filmfare, Siddharth spoke about the scene, describing the kissing rehearsal as “boring” due to the technical aspects involved.
He explained, “Alia and I didn’t realize how technical that scene was. We had to focus on angles—our lips, heads, and noses. It got boring after a while.”
This unexpected response surprised fans and shed light on the challenges of filming such scenes.
In the same interview, Siddharth Malhotra also revealed the name of an actress he would like to share an on-screen kiss with. He said, “If asked which actress I’d like to kiss on screen, I would definitely say Deepika Padukone. I’m sure people would enjoy it too.”
It’s worth mentioning that after their relationship ended, Alia Bhatt married Ranbir Kapoor, while Siddharth Malhotra tied the knot with his Shershah co-star, Kiara Advani.
