Ranveer Singh is gearing up for his next big-screen appearance in an action-packed film directed by Aditya Dhar, known for Uri: The Surgical Strike. Ahead of the shoot, Ranveer shared a photo of himself flaunting a muscular, bearded look, sparking speculation among fans that this transformation is for his upcoming film.
On Thursday, Ranveer Singh posted the picture on his Instagram Stories, which appears to be taken in a gym. The photo shows him showing off his bulked-up physique. Ranveer is famous for undergoing significant physical transformations and receiving specialized training to fully embody his characters.
Back in June, before his involvement in Aditya Dhar’s film was announced, writer Shobhaa De shared a photo with Ranveer and gave an update about his upcoming project. She revealed that the actor would be gaining 15 kg for the role. Her caption read: “Unexpected encounter at our favorite cafe in Alibag. Selfie King @ranveersingh enjoying some much-needed ‘me time’ before taking on daddy duties and starting his next film. Oh, the fries were mine! But he said he’s focusing on carbs himself, as he needs to gain 15 kg for his latest project. Charming, natural, and polite as always. Happy to have him as a neighbor in Alibag.”
Ranveer Singh was last seen in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, where he starred alongside Alia Bhatt. In his upcoming film, he will be sharing the screen with industry legends Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal. When announcing the film in July, Ranveer expressed his excitement, saying, “This one is for my fans, who have been so patient and have been asking for a role like this. I love you all and promise to deliver a cinematic experience like never before. With your blessings, we embark on this great adventure with full energy and pure intent. This time, it’s personal.”
The untitled film, directed by Aditya Dhar, will be produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the same team behind Article 370. Ranveer has also signed on for Don 3, directed by Farhan Akhtar, but there have been no recent updates on that project. He is also set to appear in Singham Again next.
