Mumbai: Actor Ranbir Kapoor is going to make his presence felt in the much hyped film ‘Dhoom 4,’ a franchisee film from Bollywood.
Indian media reported that Ranbir Kapoor will play a negative role in Yash Raj Films’ ‘Dhoom 4.’ The film’s shooting starts on his birthday, September 28.
However, for fans of the Dhoom franchise, here is some disappointing news: Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra, playing two of the most favorite characters of Inspector Jay and Ali in the previous three films, will not be seen this time in ‘Dhoom 4.’ The screenplay is being written jointly by Aditya Chopra and Vijay Krishna Acharya.
Sources close to the development revealed that Ranbir was keen on being part of the Dhoom franchise since quite some time and had been in talks with the filmmakers. Other details, including the leading lady opposite Ranbir, are kept under wraps.
