Pakistan’s renowned calligrapher and former pop singer, Rabi Pirzada, recently opened up about receiving marriage proposals.
After leaving the entertainment industry, Rabi Pirzada focused on creating unique artworks and embraced a more religious lifestyle. In addition, she launched an outlet called “Haya by Rabi,” which offers unique and beautiful clothing.
Recently, Rabi Pirzada appeared as a guest on a private podcast where she discussed various topics, including the negative influence of Pakistani dramas.
On the topic of marriage, Rabi Pirzada revealed, “I receive marriage offers every day. The Rabi Pirzada Foundation receives numerous messages, and every other message I get is a marriage proposal.”
She added, “I believe people are often drawn to rising stars and glamorous showbiz personalities, but I’m not like that at all.”
Rabi also urged men to appreciate the simple and beautiful women around them who are waiting for genuine proposals.
During the conversation, she expressed concern about the negative messages conveyed through Pakistani dramas. She pointed out that these dramas often portray women prioritizing themselves over their husbands, leading to a rise in divorce rates and negatively influencing ordinary women.
Rabi Pirzada commented on the increasing divorce rate, saying, “Nowadays, women are less tolerant of injustice. A major factor contributing to this is Pakistani dramas, which often depict arrogant wives who mistreat their caring, wealthy husbands without reason and repeatedly leave their homes.”
She further noted that rejecting good husbands has become a trend in dramas, and these stories are leaving a harmful impact on the minds of our housewives.
