Kiara Advani was born as Alia Advani on July 31, 1992, in Mumbai, India, into a well-settled family with close relations with Bollywood. Her father, Jagdeep Advani, is a well-off businessman, and her mother, Genevieve Jaffrey, is of a rich multicultural background with an ancestry that goes back to Scotland, Ireland, Portugal, and Spain. Incidentally, Kiara is the relative of yesteryear actor Ashok Kumar and Saeed Jaffrey and therefore possesses a deep family history with the Indian film industry.
