Khalilur Rehman Qamar Claims Homosexuality is Prevalent in Showbiz and Fashion Industries
Prominent Pakistani playwright Khalilur Rehman Qemar has made headlines with his recent comments about the presence of homosexual individuals in the showbiz and fashion industries. In a recent interview, Qamar expressed his concerns about what he sees as an agenda to undermine societal values and influence the younger generation.
Qamar voiced his support for Maria B, who has been vocal in her opposition to certain content in media, specifically mentioning the web series “Barzakh.” According to Qamar, the series, along with other similar productions, is part of a deliberate effort to normalize homosexuality in society.
He criticized the creation of dramas, films, and web series that, in his view, promote homosexuality, suggesting that these projects are designed to further an agenda to corrupt the new generation. Although he admitted he has not watched “Barzakh,” he believes the series itself is indicative of this broader agenda.
When asked about the prevalence of homosexuals in the showbiz industry, Qamar stated he has not personally researched the issue but expressed support for Maria B’s claims. He noted that if she asserts that a significant portion of industry professionals are homosexual, he believes it to be accurate, given her credibility on the subject.
