Kangana shared a video of her maiden parliamentary address on Instagram, which has since gone viral. In the video, the BJP MP passionately speaks about the vanishing tribal music and folk art of Himachal Pradesh.

During her speech, she highlighted the endangered art forms in Mandi, including the traditional architectural technique known as Kath-Kuni. She emphasized that this technique, used to create items like jackets, caps, shawls, and sweaters from sheep skin, is valued abroad and needs promotion to preserve it.

In her social media post, Kangana expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to speak about Mandi in Parliament.

It’s worth noting that her 2024 election victory has been contested by independent candidate Ram Negi in the Himachal Pradesh court. The court has issued notices to Kangana in response to the petition.

At 38 years old, Kangana Ranaut made her political debut in the recent Indian elections and emerged victorious.
