Hunter Schafer Family & Relationship
Hunter Schafer was born on December 31, 1998, in Raleigh, North Carolina, into a very tight family with three younger siblings. Her father, Mac Schafer, is a Presbyterian minister, while her mother Katy Schafer is an educational counselor. Because her dad had to move around, Schafer’s family had to shift a couple of times briefly into New Jersey and then Arizona before finally reaching back to their home town, Raleigh.
Hunter had an aptitude for creativity and self-expression, right from her childhood, and turned more toward the arts. In her teenage years, she had to go through the torture of being gender dysphoric. Hunter started her transition in high school by structuring a comfort zone based on her creative endowments and the family that supported her identity.
Speaking of her relationships, Hunter has kept mum about her romantic life; she does, however, post about her close friendships and friendships with the Euphoria cast. She says in interviews that she needs to have people around her who understand and accept her.

Along with all her work in Euphoria, Schafer is steadily working her way up the Hollywood ladder.
