Recently, Pakistani actress Hira Khan shared a very alarming experience about a director who asked her to audition for a role at 11 pm, asking her to wear a short dress-an offer which was refused.
A video clip is going viral on social media in which Hira Khan shared an incident. She gave an interview and shared her close encounter with a probable casting scam.
Hira khan said, “I was shooting for a drama when another actress called to say that there was a director looking for an addition in his cast and if interested I may get in touch with him. I asked her for the number of the director, reached home and messaged him.”
Name of the director and actress who had given the contact was not disclosed during the interview.
The actress further explained that after she sent the message to the director, he requested two pictures of her, not her work. She quoted him saying they did not want to see her work but would instead invite her for a direct audition. I asked if I could come at 3 pm, but he insisted that I should come at 11 pm.
She added, “The director told me that I had to wear short or bold clothes for the audition, which was to be private, and these videos would only be sent to the producers. He then told me something that made me immediately cut off the conversation: that those videos wouldn’t come out anywhere else.
Hira immediately dialed another director’s number within the industry to inform him about the happenings. He told her that the audition did not go this way, so that would make him a fraud if she spoke with him.
