In an interview with Geo News, Hareem Shah expressed her regret about not becoming a doctor. She mentioned her goal of pursuing a PhD, as she desires to be called “Doctor” after completing her studies.

Hareem also shared her dream of attending Oxford University, inspired by leaders like Benazir Bhutto and Imran Khan, who both studied there. During the conversation, she claimed that Imran Khan has no interest in becoming Chancellor of Oxford, despite being selected by the university. According to her, Imran Khan’s fame surpasses that of Oxford itself.

It is worth noting that Imran Khan, currently imprisoned in Adiala Jail, has submitted his candidacy for the Chancellor’s election at Oxford University, one of the oldest and most prestigious institutions in the UK.

The position became available after the resignation of 80-year-old Lord Chris Patten, former Governor of Hong Kong and long-serving Chancellor of Oxford. The election is open to Oxford graduates, and the role is often given to politicians. Former British Prime Ministers Tony Blair and Boris Johnson are reportedly also contenders.

The university will announce the official candidates in early October, and the election will be held on October 28. Over 250,000 alumni and former staff members will cast their votes online, and the Chancellor will serve a 10-year term.
