On September 17, actress Fatima Sana Shaikh gave her followers a glimpse into her cultural tour of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
The Rijksmuseum, the Netherlands’ national museum, is famous for its extensive collection of Dutch art and history. In her post, Fatima shared her experience exploring the rich heritage within this iconic museum.
Fatima, who has 3.3 million Instagram followers, posted a series of photos from her visit. In the pictures, she’s seen wearing a stylish black tee and black-and-white striped pants, with her long curly hair flowing freely, complemented by chic black sunglasses.
Along with her fashionable look, she also shared images of the artwork she admired, giving her followers a peek at the artistic treasures she encountered.
She captioned the post: “My little trip to Rijksmuseum.”
On the professional front, Fatima started her acting career as a child artist in the 1997 movie Ishq, a romantic film starring Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgn, Juhi Chawla, and Kajol. She also played Bharti Ratan in Chachi 420, a remake of the Tamil film Avvai Shanmughi, directed by Kamal Haasan.
Fatima appeared in other films as a child artist, such as Bade Dilwala, Khoobsurat, and One 2 Ka 4. However, she gained widespread recognition for her role as wrestler Geeta Phogat in the 2016 biographical sports drama Dangal, starring alongside Aamir Khan and Sanya Malhotra.
She has also starred in films like Thugs of Hindostan, Bittoo Boss, Ludo, Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari, Ajeeb Daastaans, Thar, and Dhak Dhak.
Her most recent appearance was in 2023’s biographical war film Sam Bahadur, where she played Indira Gandhi. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film stars Vicky Kaushal as Sam Manekshaw, India’s first field marshal.
