Being a 2D-to-3D conversion, the movie was produced on a shoestring budget of Rs 30 crore, including print and publicity expenses. The movie finally hit the theaters on September 12, 2024, during the Onam season.
It traverses across three timelines-1900s, 1950s, and 1990s-accelerating the tale of three generations of protagonists named Maniyan, Kunjikelu, and Ajayan, all played by Tovino Thomas. Each of them was from the same lineage and was bound together under their promise to protect the most prized treasure of their land. The film weaves together these three timelines into an epic saga of adventure and heritage down to northern Kerala.

Krithi Shetty and Aishwarya Rajesh have been roped in to play prominent roles, while Surabhi Lakshmi, Basil Joseph, Rohini, Harish Uthaman, Nisthar Sait, Jagadish, and Pramod Shetty have been booked for important roles to give more credence to the ensemble. More star power for the film comes from Aju Varghese and Sudheesh as well to ensure a dynamic and varied lineup of performances.
