Elon Musk, the owner of companies like Tesla, SpaceX, and X (formerly Twitter), is on track to become the world’s first trillionaire. This prediction comes from a report by Informa Connect Academy.
The report highlights that Musk’s wealth is growing at an average rate of 110% per year. Currently, he is the richest person in the world, with a net worth of $251 billion. If this growth continues, Musk could reach a net worth of one trillion dollars by 2027.
The report also suggests that Indian businessman Gautam Adani might become the world’s second trillionaire. His wealth is increasing at a rate of 123% per year, potentially reaching $1 trillion by 2028.
Other potential trillionaires by 2028 include Nvidia’s CEO Jensen Huang and Indonesian businessman Prajogo Pangestu, if their wealth continues to grow at the current rates.
The world’s third-richest person, Bernard Arnault of France, and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg could also achieve trillionaire status by 2030.
It is worth noting that the title of the world’s first billionaire was earned by John Rockefeller of the United States in 1916. Since then, the question has remained: Who will become the world’s first trillionaire?
