A Florida judge has declared Joe Jones and Sophie Turner divorced and free
Joe Jonas, elder brother of American singer Nick Jonas, and his wife Sophie Turner are now divorced.
In 2023, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s dark crisis hit the media headlines when Priyanka Chopra and Sophie Turner started unfollowing each other on the popular photo-sharing app Instagram.
Later, the tension between Joe Jonas and his wife started to increase and rumors of divorce between the couple began to surface.
Media reports came forward that the four-year-old marriage of actress Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas has ended in divorce after which the couple has separated.
Meanwhile, the issue of child custody was also decided between Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas.
The children shall remain with mother until October 9 and spend the period to October 21 with her and also celebrate Christmas with her.
He will then be brought to his father, Joe Jonas, and remain with him from October 21 to November 2. Both girls will also celebrate Thanksgiving with their father.
After this news, though it seemed the couple had taken a long silence; recently, a Florida judge divorced them officially, declaring them completely free for each other.
They have agreed to a secret agreement over spousal support, the division of assets, and custody of their daughters.
According to various reports, a Miami-Dade County judge signed off on a confidential settlement in which Joe Jonas, 35, ended his five-year marriage to the 28-year-old British actress.
That divorce, which once appeared destined for an ugly, protracted legal fight, is now said to be wrapped up with a minimum of fuss, reportedly not only the dissolution of the marriage itself but also custody of the ex-couple’s daughter Vela, 4, and 2-year-old Delphine, assets, spousal support, and custody arrangements.
Remember the love story of Joe Jones and Sophie Turner, which began in 2016 when they reached out to each other via Instagram. Their friendship grew rapidly, and later they secretly married in Las Vegas in May 2019.
Later, in September 2023, Joe Jones filed for divorce in search of joint custody of their daughters, citing a pre-nuptial agreement on the legal paper.
The day after filing, Joe Jones and Sophie Turner took to social media to assure the public, with virtually identical posts, that the split was amicable.
Things soon took a messy turn, though, a few weeks later when Turner filed a lawsuit asking Jones to provide the children with passports to travel to their native England.
