Christopher Robert “Chris” Evans, born on June 13, 1981, is an American actor known for his roles in films such as Not Another Teen Movie, Cellular, Street Kings, and as the Human Torch in the Fantastic Four series.

Christopher Robert Early Life
Chris Evans was born in Sudbury, Massachusetts, to Lisa, a dancer, and Bob Evans, a dentist. He has two sisters, Carly and Shanna, and a younger brother, Scott. Of Italian and Irish descent, Evans was raised Catholic. He graduated from Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School in 1999 and initially planned to attend NYU.

After his junior year of high school, Evans moved to Brooklyn, New York, where he interned at a casting agency and took a summer acting program. During this time, he met an agent who helped launch his acting career. Evans started with small roles in TV series like Boston Public and The Fugitive, and had a part in Opposite Sex. His breakthrough came with the role of Jake Wyler in Not Another Teen Movie.

Following this, Evans starred in The Perfect Score and Cellular. He also appeared in independent films, showcasing a broader range of his acting skills. In London, he played a troubled drug user, and he gained further recognition for his portrayal of the Human Torch in the 2005 film Fantastic Four. This role earned him the ‘Male Superstar of Tomorrow’ award at the 2005 Young Hollywood Awards.
Evans reprised his role as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). That year, he also starred as astronaut Mace in Danny Boyle’s sci-fi film Sunshine. In 2008, he appeared in Street Kings with Keanu Reeves and The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond with Bryce Dallas Howard, Ellen Burstyn, and David Strathairn. The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond is based on a play by Tennessee Williams. Evans continued to gain acclaim with his role in the 2009 sci-fi thriller Push, alongside Dakota Fanning and Camilla Belle.
