Pakistani showbiz veteran Bushra Ansari has called for strict action against men who sexually abuse and oppress women.
In a social media post, Bushra Ansari addressed various incidents, including the tragic murder of Sania Zahra by her husband in Multan, Punjab, and the brutal rape of a female doctor in Kolkata, India.
She expressed concern that women and girls in both Pakistan and India are increasingly unsafe, with incidents of sexual abuse and violence on the rise. Ansari condemned the mentality of men who believe that oppressing women proves their masculinity, stating that those who prey on the weak are, in fact, cowards.
Bushra Ansari criticized the lack of punishment for criminals in Pakistan and India, which she believes contributes to the increase in these crimes. She passionately demanded that male rapists be castrated and that men who oppress women be amputated and left to crawl on the ground.
She also suggested that men who throw acid on women’s faces should have the same done to them, arguing that such harsh measures would deter crime.
In her concluding remarks, Bushra Ansari urged politicians in both Pakistan and India to step up as heroes and publicly punish those involved in these heinous acts.
