The Benazir Income Support Program, or BISP as it is more popularly known, is intended to help needy and deserving people manage their day-to-day life expenses. Within the premises of this program, females and their children enrolled in schools receive monetary benefits under different schemes. This Program is based on 3 Months package. After every 3 Months, these families get their money from BISP Program. Complete details are given below.
For the checking process, the Government of Pakistan has introduced a portal which is known as BISP 8171 Check Online 2024. It will help you to check whether you have been elected or chosen for the Benazir Kafalat and Ehsaas Program. In the BISP 8171 online check, it will be verified by the beneficiary using an ID card.
This facility is entitled to all the citizens of Pakistan either by dialing the number or putting their CNIC, ID card number, online.
How to Check Your BISP Eligibility
All eligible candidates can check their status regarding the BISP program on the 8171 online portal by providing their CNIC number for the year 2024. It also provides the facility for the registration of people in the Ehsaas program and issues a solution to problems one has to face at the time of form submission. It will show whether you are eligible for the Benazir Income Support Program in 2024.

Complaints on the 8171 Portal
You can also, in case of any problem in receiving the amount, lodge your complaint by registering at the BISP 8171 Web portal. You will be required to submit your complaint by using your CNIC and selecting an issue you are facing from the following:

It is a program designed for the poor and deserving families, and the eligibility criteria includes:
Your monthly income shall be less than 30,000 PKR.
You should not be a part of any other government initiative.
None of your family members should be a governmental employee.
You should not own more than two acres of land.
You should not have traveled abroad.
How to Register for BISP Online
The registration process for the Benazir Income Support Program has been initiated. Attending a meeting, BISP Chairperson Rubina Khalid said that 700,000 more women would be included in the program, and it is a very good opportunity for those families that are not registered yet.
Online Registration:
- Open your mobile inbox.
- Type your CNIC number and send it to 8171.
- If eligible, go to your nearest HBL ATM and collect the amount.
- Otherwise, visit the nearest BISP Tehsil Office for a Dynamic Survey.
Ehsaas Program Registration via SMS and Online
Registration in the Ehsaas Program has been simplified. You can check your eligibility and do the registration as follows:
- Via SMS:
- Open your messaging app
- Type your CNIC number and send it to ”8171”.
You will be sent an SMS confirming your eligibility status.
- Online:
- Log in to the website at 8171.
- Enter CNIC, name, and phone number.
- Check the procedure provided on the portal.
The Ehsaas Program was initiated by former Prime Minister Imran Khan to provide unemployment support, widowers, and senior citizens, along with others who have financial needs. It provides from 10,500 PKR to 25,000 PKR, based on the eligibility of a person’s need. Moreover, it provides special assistance to widowers and jobless women.
This ensures that the most needy amongst the citizens receive assistance in whatever is needed for day-to-day survival.
