Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha shared her biggest wish for her wedding, which took place on June 23. Sonakshi surprised her fans by announcing her marriage to her longtime friend Zaheer Iqbal. They started their married life by registering the marriage under the Civil Marriage Act.
The wedding was attended by the Sinha family and the Ratansi family, but Sonakshi’s brothers, Luv Sinha and Kush Sinha, were not present.
On the night of June 23, a grand reception was held to celebrate the couple’s marriage. Guests gathered to celebrate, and videos of the newlyweds dancing enthusiastically went viral on social media.
After the wedding, the couple went on their honeymoon. When asked about their simple wedding, Sonakshi said, “I don’t really know, it was just a fact that we were made for each other and this is something we have wanted to do for so long.”
Sonakshi added, “We wanted the wedding to be a simple ceremony but our reception to be grand so everyone could enjoy it.”
She mentioned that the decorations and the arrival of guests made the wedding day a beautiful scene. She chose a comfortable dress but also had one wish—to do a grand dance at her wedding, which she did.
